As a team we thought music was a key aspect to a successful opening for our film. We looked through many sites at copyright free music to try and find a piece which created tension but also suited our film idea. We found two pieces of music which we liked the links are below because we thought the two pieces suited we decided to combined them together to create a new piece.

ReplyDeleteThe reason as a group we decided these two pieces of music was due to the eerie atmosphere which we believed it created. As stated above the thriller which really inspired the use of music was mainly ‘Brick’ 2005, this is due to the music being so powerful and therefore the lack of dialogue is not notice. By choosing a powerful piece of music I think it makes the audience engage to the film more and dialogue is consider more a distraction in the opening scene. The track ‘abducted’ was use as it contained a screech sound which we believe enhanced the tension within the film, it also contained a heart beat sound which our group thought would be consider as the victims Grace’s heartbeat.
